Blazers Continue Showcase With 10-2 Win

Thursday night, the Oklahoma City Blazers concluded the Western States Shootout schedule of games for the day, as they took on the Western Division's Fresno Monsters. The Blazers placed Josh Martinez in net, as they took on Tyler Mathews for the Monsters.

OKC took control in the 1st half, as they jumped out to a 6-1 lead after 25 minutes of play. The Blazers picked up a pair of goals from Stephane Doering, and additional goals from Daniel Baranek, Henrik Overvall, Jiri Egert, and Miroslav Sykora.

Fresno answered back quickly into the 2nd half, scoring just 22 seconds in, but OKC kept their foot on the gas pedal and rattled off an additional four goals from Harri Koll, Daniel Baranek, Austin Lykins, and Simon Martineau to give the Blazers the 10-2 win.

Martinez picked up 18 saves in the win, as he improved to 5-0-0 on the year.

OKC takes on the Long Beach Bombers on Friday, to close out their Western States Shootout.
